Now for the technicalities!  I have an 8 year old, 6 year old and 2 year old.  All three are mercury poisoned.  The older two have unofficial diagnosis' of aspergers (8 yr old) and mild autism (6 yr old).  Because they are high functioning it took a LONG time to recognize their quirks as autism and not just bizarre behavior.  We chose to keep their diagnosis' off the record b/c by the time we knew what we were dealing with, I had heard autism wasn't always permanent and I was determined we were going to be one of the recovered families.  I didn't want a diagnosis that would hinder them later in life (at the time I didn't know a dx could be removed after recovery) with insurance and jobs.  My husband told me to do whatever I needed and he would support me 100%.  So I started researching and reading and networking.  But I will write individual stories on each of them in another section of my page or this will be annoyingly long!!  LOL
