I am the mother of five children, the youngest Michael or Mickie as we like to call him, was diagnosed with Autism at 22 months old.After years of early intervention therapy, which didn't work. I learned through trial and error that he had underlying biomedical problems that culminated in Autism like symptoms, including, chronic digestive problems since the age of one, when he received the MMR vaccine.
With biomedical interventions, gfcf and SCD diets, Mickie's body is starting to heal. Some of the most severe symptoms, head banging, night waking, self injurious behaviors are almost gone.
He lost all speech by the age of three. He is now 10 years old and has just started to say mama, for the first time in almost 8 years.

Dr. Jophn Martin came last to the conference I put on last year here in Madera, He is my firiend April Rene' s good friend...He and April present all over the states on the Stealth Virus...April's little girl at 5 years old died...she was autistic...See April's information at www.vacinfo.org also see Dr. Tim O'Shea...vaccination is not immunization at www.thedoctorwithin.com If you would like a copy of John's presentation I can mail you one...they were in L.A. at the Good Sammaritain Hospital last summer...April and John that is....

This has been one that crossed our minds as well as I have one nephew with moderate to severe Autism. A Niece from another sibling with Juvenile onset Diabetes, and another nephew, her brother, with a stomach issue. I could see this being a part of that.

At this point, I can't rule anything out. It does make sense that a mutated virus could be one of the causes. Scary, though, because how do you keep a child from becoming infected?

I am a member of a yahoo group, started by a dad like yourself, who helped his little son get better, with a caveman diet and antiviral and antifungals. His theory is that our kids have been attacked by viruses that are yet to be identified, because even thought they can test negative for a viruses, they seem to do well when put on antiviral medications like Valtrex and natural ones like GSE (grapefruit seed extract) and OLE (Olive leaf extract) all of which I have Mickie on.

Ummm, this is one of the hundreds of hypothesis that has gone through my head as being logical... I will look more into this as I can.
