Hi my name is Sonya. I have a wonderful husband who works his butt off so I can stay home with the kids Bryan 15, nt and Seoc 4, special needs. Seoc (pronounced Shock, it is Gaelic for Jack, it means God is Gracious) has numerous diagnosis but Autism is the one we struggle with daily. He has the biggest smile and best laugh I have ever heard. He is high functioning and has hyperlexia. He keeps life very interesting to say the least.

We usually have the whole family over for birthdays but after only three days back at school Seoc has a runny nose and the start of a cough, sigh. I also feel it coming on. My grandmother and Aunt couldn't attend because they are both medically fragile.
This year Seoc seemed to get it that it is His birthday!! He was so excited when he woke to find the house decorated with Thomas the train and balloons with numbers on them. He put on his hat and said "All Aboard" and was walking around saying "Surprize!" He started asking for cake and had to wait until Nana came with the cake. I had the camcorder all set up in the corner rolling (so I thought) He blew out his first candle ever before I could get the cake on the table and took a bite right out of the side of the cake! It was priceless. Well the video camera had shut off. AAAAHHHH!!! I did catch some photo's but I am sooo sick we didn't get that moment of video. Instead it recorded all the boring stuff, sigh. He had a wonderful birthday and I will never forget it.

Happy Birthday!!!, around here we stock up on oil of Oregano in late October...but the weather here is acting up, my grandbabies came over yesterday and they have runny noses, so I guess with school starting everyone will be on the Oil of Oregano early this year...Oh! Oil of Oregano kills yeast, it killed all of Julian's anyway...tests show no more yeast or parasites, yes parasites we all have them...we also use Elderberry extract in the winter months too. Pray you all feel better soon.

Oh, that is so cool!!! Happy Birthday to Seoc. I see you list biomedical in your interests: try using Oil of Oregano this cold/flu season to ward off illness. I used it daily with myself and didn't get sick the last 2 winters. I took drops, but they make capsules. Opt for wild oil of oregano if you can afford it. Check it out. Powerful antibacterial/antiviral with apparently a yeast fighting ability.

I am so happy to read this! I always get very emonital when my son's Birthday month comes around. Sometimes on his Birthday I even cry. I just love Birthdays !! I hope you and Seoc feel better soon!!! LOL Quincy
