Hi, my name is Kristi. I am 23 years old, and my son is 2 and a half years old. I think my son has high functioning autism, and I just want to get advice and information that can possibly help him.
Brendan likes deep pressure, running, walking on toes, hand flapping when mad, jumping, very picky eater (likes crunchy texture), he screams and throws tantrums,   gets easily frustrated, throws things, doesn't like his head touched or hair brushed, cut or washed.  Seems like he is in his own little world at times. Doesn't like tags, overalls/shortalls, collars, and prefers to be naked! He gets distracted really easily and is VERY active, always on the go. Now that he is learning to talk, he tends to repeat the last word of everyones sentences.
