My name is Mayra, single, 23 years old. I am the mother of two wonderful children recently diagnosed: Jonathan, 3, autism, and Christopher, 18 mos., PDD-NOS. There are times where I want to pull my hair out, but the most memorable ones are when they make me laugh and when I hear them call my name since it is one of the few words they can say. It is tough raising two children on the spectrum by myself, but I wouldn't have it any other way when I have two children as amazing as my two little boys are.
