I am the proud mother of four children. Zane is b.1999 (aspergers), Marcus b.2000(adhd), my only daughter Eowyn b.2002 (Autism), and Ean b.2007 (my specialist free child)
My page title is All kids Have Special Needs because that is how I truly feel about children. As a teacher and a mother, I think even kids without any official diagnosis have special needs that are unique to them.

that the things in life that were complicated once again switch.
No more heavy coats and snowboots, scarves, hats, mitts, and more...just a light coat and shoes on nice days...but we have to convince the child with autism that this is OK. Today she wore sandals with mittens and a toque.
Spring means that the kids dont have to be in the house 24/7. Good bye Canadian winter...hello Canadian sping...
oh, the tree climbing begins again, I forgot. Spring means the door alarm must be set all the time to let us know if Eowyn escapes. Usually she just wants to go climb the tree in our backyard, but we back on a park with a pond, which terrifies me.
Spring means a lot of yelling strange things out my back door.. stop throwing your shoes at your brothers. dont put the cat in that box. and at least 30 million times..Eowyn get out of the tree.
