Hi all! I am a mother to a 5 year old Caleb with autism and a 3 year old Kelsey with Asperger's. He is in kindergarten and she is in pre-school. I also have many characteristics in common with the kids which makes dealing twice as hard for me-sensitive hearing, sensory, ADD, and a little auditory processing. I am married to Dennis and we keep our hands full keeping up with the two of them.

He is finally pooping in the potty! Let us all praise the lord and thank Mickey Mouse! Everyone sing with me "M-I-C, K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E"! Yeah!

It just clicked for him. We have been doing this for awhile. He did not get that the brown stuff came from his bottom and that is poop. He would say he pooped when he peed. He was really confused. I was showing him "Everyone Poops" which is the most graphic thing I could find that was appropriate.
