Hi all! I am a mother to a 5 year old Caleb with autism and a 3 year old Kelsey with Asperger's. He is in kindergarten and she is in pre-school. I also have many characteristics in common with the kids which makes dealing twice as hard for me-sensitive hearing, sensory, ADD, and a little auditory processing. I am married to Dennis and we keep our hands full keeping up with the two of them.

Is the last day of school! I cannot wait so things can slow down. We can tak our time doing things and not be so rushed except for the doctor appointments. BUT I need it to warm up and stay that way! Man I am not used to the Indiana springs. Last year was really warm and this year is really cool. I want to swim with the kids. Sniff sniff. Plus with the ending of school means my little boy will be a kindergartner. I hope it brings nice things.

We are also still cold up in WI. I'm used to hot days by now. Kindergarten was a wonderful year for us. I hope you see the same. It was full of social and academic progress. The best thing I did was volunteer a lot in the classroom/school to make myself known. Enjoy the lazy summer!
