Hi all! I am a mother to a 5 year old Caleb with autism and a 3 year old Kelsey with Asperger's. He is in kindergarten and she is in pre-school. I also have many characteristics in common with the kids which makes dealing twice as hard for me-sensitive hearing, sensory, ADD, and a little auditory processing. I am married to Dennis and we keep our hands full keeping up with the two of them.

Sorry I was not really in a right state of mind to write until today. (I have been lurking though in the background.) With all the testing being performed on my son and my friend's marriage dissipating before my very eyes, I was not in a happy state. I am just not able to share any good news lately. Except that my kids' language skills are picking up. I hope your days are going well.

Actually, if you want to share bad news, that's okay, too-- we all know what trouble's like. I'm glad your childrens' language skills are improving! Hope you feel better soon!
