I"m an outgoing mom of four, one of which is in college and I'm in college too getting a human service's degree. My youngest Colton goes to a special need's school in my area, does O.T., and is about to start therapuetic horseback riding again. We are detoxing him with a foot bath at our Dan doctor right now and with the spice Celantro. I love singing, jazz music, painting on glass, ice skating, and working out at our local Y. We are presently going for hyperbaulic treatments on my son, this profile statement will keep those informed of how it is going, those who are interested......

I've noticed since going on DMG my son's teeth are easier to brush, he does'nt seem to suck his shirts as much and he seems to eat less, not as sensory with food. I was noticing the changes and took the DMG back away and noticed the behaviors came back. But; he's more verbal without the DMG, odd, uh? We go to our nuerologist to find out today if the decrease in appetite could be his seizure meds. or the DMG. He's always been a huge eater but lately it's like he'll just eat a little compared to his norm and has stopped making the ummm noises as much when he eats. Anyone with experiences in seizure meds. or DMG out there? We've been trying Juice Plus, a dehydrated fruits and veggies gummies, he has had extreme diarehea this weekend, so I'm cuitting back on them and then building back up. I"ve noticed when he's nervous he taps his fingers gently on his face. I think this is a way to calm hmself, a stim behavior. Do any of your kids hit thier heads on pillows over and over and over?

Wow--so much to consider. You are doing alot for your son, and watching for everything, it seems. I do think that the tapping is probably a calming technique....the head on the pillow--could it be pain, like a headache, or a response to sound? Does it seem pleasurable? Keep us posted with the results from your appt.
