Hello I am a new autistic mother since June 07 I am 25 yrs old . He is 4 years old. I have 3 other typical children daughters 10, 7, 5, I am married now for 6 years together for 7. I am not very educated yet but one of my goals is to learn all I can about this disease and how I help my child. I am so blessed that I have my daughters first they are such a big help to their brother . I think God gave me my son last so he would have these helping hands around him, and good examples around him daily. Whats funny is I have always wanted a boy during every pegnancy he never came , now I know It was completely Gods plan and out of my hands . It reminds of just how little I am and how Big he is. I am just so blessed that he can walk and laught at jokes ther are so many children that are not able to do these things. I try to focus on the things that he is able to do, not on the things that he cannot do.

I have recently heard of someone who doesn't want to see any thing about Jesus . Well I have one thing to say about that . I am sorry if some people don't want to read about it. God is the life source for many moms out there. If there was someone talking about how they worship the devil that is there own opion It is not my place to judge If I dont like It I wont click on them . All I am saying is I love Jesus Christ .

I respect your dedication to your beliefs, however, I don't think it is fair to compare others religious beliefs to worshiping satan... I believe the reason why Shannon started the Faith group was so that no ones beliefs would be offended. I think its common courtesy to respect that, and realize that even if we don't all believe in the same god, that is not what we are here for... we are here for our kids.

Hi Vern- I appreciate your passion and your beliefs and am glad that you have found a source of strength. However, because faith and religion are topics that are sensitive, I have created a Faith Topic in the forum of Foggyrock for such discussions. I think it is important to respect that we are all coming from different experiences and may not agree in areas of faith. That is fine, as different opinions are a normal part of every community. However, in the future, please reserve such discussions on personal convictions to the designated areas--so that those who are interested will find them, and those who are not interested will not be exposed.
