stevej's Bio

I'm a husband to my wonderful wife Shannon, father of two children, my inspirational son Wynn and precious daughter Haley.  Wynn is now 13 with autism. He has been the driver for my wife and I to push for better ways to track behaviors, journal his days and find what other things can help him. www.iabida.com is very helpful in the day-to-day team management for my son - and www.foggyrock.com is my community.

My son has been a fighter through all of this, which can make it difficult at times, but also helps me hope his fierce desire will protect him. My daughter is 11 and has been a tremendous help for her brother and his biggest cheerleader. Foggyrock is hopefully a big help for everyone to network better, make new friends, find new information and improve our collective understanding.

Welcome and thanks!

Hey Steve, we almost had door repair facing us this evening. After being really good today and getting through 2 parties, our two boys blew up at each other. Older ASD son locked himself in the bathroom and the younger NT son was banging on the door and screaming at him.

Yeah, but Steve you need to look at the positive of all this. With the ups and downs that come with selling software, you can always fall back on your new found construction skills.

I hear you. I'm counting the hours. When the kids are in school is the only break I get.

That would be so hilarious--- if you weren't talking about my family! ...Love you, honey. Thanks for building the new sensory room and for repairing the holes and the doors....This too will pass.
